So, you’ve decided to go on vacation, and you’ve decided that it has to be abroad. FInding the best vacation spots can be a bit stressful though. Given that the world is such a vast place, and there are so many things to look towards, it’s not optimal to check out every location on the map and figure out where to go.

So, to cut you a bit of slack, and make your life easier, we’ve come up with the vacation spots around the world which attract tourists around the year. Figure out what you like, and go forward to experience some beautiful things in this world.

One of those places which have become a surprising favorite over the years is the Maldives. It lives up to its name by being one of the most splendid places to take a vacation in. Looking for something that goes easy on your wallet a bit? Prague hosts some million tourists each year owing to its unique architectural depth and history. Look up at the ancient structures that dot the squares and the cities, and try and find out about what makes the city so interesting from the world history standpoint. You’ll find the awkward Dancing House, and the ever amazing Old Town Square. Once, you’re done admiring this, come down the local restaurants to check out the Prague hospitality for yourself and enjoy the world as it stands. Sip on a glass of a locally brewed pilsner, or try out your hand at the local food, that has the hands of some European giants influencing it. Don’t forget to collect pictures along the way, given that Prague lives up to the name of being one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Italy lives up to his name for being one of those destinations that attract millions of tourists each year. However, the Amalfi Coast remains severely underrated still. There’s no reason for you to ignore it though, given that this coast hosts a slew of activities that can help you to live up to the hype of old Italy, while, trying something new every single day. Try out the adventure sports that have made this region famous, with scuba diving and paragliding topping the list. Remember to rest yourself by trying some of the true-blue Italian pizzas and pasta during the breaks.

Okay, we’re cheating a bit here. Given the ease of access to Canada, not many people think of it as a genuinely foreign land. However, Banff is one of those oases that lives up to its name is being one of the best places you’ll visit. If you wanted to visit Iceland in the winters, and were worried about the long travel hours and the spending, Banff is where you want to visit. Filled with rocky mountains and beautiful sceneries, this place lives up to its name by being one of those areas where you can try hiking and skiing and everything that you ever wanted to do. With the famous Canadian hospitality at your call at beckon, you can bet that this one of those places where you can honestly let go of your fears and try out something new.

Hike up the local mountains, or go to a local ski resort to check out the options for skiing. This is one of the most luxurious places on this list, so, don’t be surprised when you find yourself with a gourmet meal at the end of the day.

  1. Bali, Indonesia

From playing with monkeys to looking over a beach shaped like a dinosaur, Bali has it all. Indonesia has been making a lot of noise on the international travel scene owing to its unique heritage and historical story. This is one of the only places where you can find a Buddhist Stupa surrounded by many Hindu temples and find sacred groves that live up to their name. You can find thousands of temples here, each having its diverse history and beautiful sceneries at its back. On the other hand, you can also see the beautiful sandy beaches, with azure water, and pristine conditions where you can relax. To live it up, try and travel to the famous Pink and Black beaches, and hike up an active volcano, and then spend the rest of your vacation finding spirituality in the many sacred groves around the area.

Much closer home is Costa Rica, another one of the places boasting rocky mountains, rainforests, and beautiful rock formations. Let your hair down and enjoy some of the local delicacies and wines, or try out the modern adventure sports that are being offered. Costa Rica lives up to its name by being one of the last tropical rainforests where you can enjoy yourselves. There’s nothing like getting caught in a quick shower while you’re out in the jungle and then coming back to your vacation home for a good old fashioned hearty meal.
