Paul Walker was an American actor who began acting at a very young age by starring in television commercials. He rose to fame after his debut in The Fast and Furious films. Paul Walker was born in Glendale, California on September 12th 1973. Walker made his first big screen debut in the 1986 horror parody ‘Monster in Your Closet’. He also starred in a wide range of television shows such as ‘Throb’, ‘Touched by an Angel’, and ‘The Young and The Restless’. The American actor first gained popularity from his role in the 1999 movie ‘Varsity Blues’. Due to his success from this film, his television show days were no more. Walker continued to star in other movies; however his main breakthrough occurred due to his role in the 2001 film ‘The Fast and The Furious‘. ‘The Fast and The Furious’ was a huge hit around the world and led to Walker and his co-stars starring in another four sequels as well as a short prequel. It became clear that Walker was made to star in action films, therefore he continues to star in films such as all–fakers’ and ‘Hours and Vehicle 19′. However, his acting days came to an end at the age of 40 aftera tragic car accident that occurred on November 30th 2013.

Paul Walker was born on September 12th, 1973 in Glendale, California. He began his career at a very young age. He did some modelling as well as appearing on popular television shows such as ‘Who’s the Boss’ and ‘Charles in Charge’. He made his first film debut in the movie ‘Monster in a Closet’. After Walker completed high school, he attended a variety of community colleges however it was in 1993 that he began acting full-time. His first full-time role was in a soap opera called ‘The Young and the Restless’. He also appeared in a range of other popular television shows such as ‘Tammy and the T-Rex’, in which he was the lead character. ‘Meet the Deedles’ was the final television show Walker appeared him. He then became a full-time movie actor. It was only after his television days were behind him that Walker became a well-known actor. He starred opposite Reese Witherspoon in ‘Pleasantville’, as well as other films known as ‘The Skulls’ and ‘She’s all That’.
Walker’s Big Break
During 2001, Paul Walker was given the opportunity to star alongside Vin Diesel in the upcoming movie ‘The Fast and the Furious’. This street racing action film led Walker to new fame as it received more than $200 million from the box-office. In 2003, ‘The Fast and the Furious’ was back with its first ever sequel known as ‘Fast and Furious’. Walker continued to star in each of the sequels that were made up until his tragic death. Throughout his ‘Fast and Furious’ sequels, he also starred in other movies such as ‘Running Scared’, ‘Noer, and a children’s adventure film called ‘Eight Below’. It was clear that Walker was best known for his roles in action-packed movies, however it was his role in the Clint Eastwood film, ‘Flags of Our Father’, that showed just how versatile Walker can be.
Walker’s Charity Work
Not only did Paul Walker show the world what he was capable of in terms of acting, but when he was not filming he continued to stay active with an organisation known as Reach Out Worldwide. Reach Out Worldwide was formed in 2012 by Walker. It is a non-profit organisation that helps bring aid to areas around the world that have suffered from natural disasters.
The Tragic Death of Paul Walker
Paul Walker tragically passed away on November 30th 2013. He died in a car accident alongside his friend Roger Rodas. The accident took place in Santa Clarita, California. Walker and his friend were returning home from a charity event in relation to his organisation Reach Out Worldwide. The event was in connection to benefiting victims who suffered from Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. It has been stated that Paul Walker was in the passenger seat and Roger Rodas was the designated driver of the Porsche. It is believed Rodas lost control of the car which led to them crashing into a concrete light pole including two trees.

The area in which Walker and Rodas crashed is said to be a popular location for car drifting. The coroner’s report that was released soon after their death stated that the men were travelling at a total speed of 160km/h. It was ruled out that drugs or alcohol played a role in their death however police believed drag racing may have been the cause of the car crash. This however was never proven. Paul Walker’s autopsy showed that he died before the car caught fire due to thermal and traumatic injuries whereas Roger Rodas is believed to have died from neck, chest, and head trauma. Due to the extent of their injuries, visual recognition was not possible. A part of the wreckage that belonged to the Porsche was stolen as it being towed away.However, the two men responsible has both been arrested and charged with grand theft. Prior to his death, Walker had just finished filming ‘Brick Mansions’ and he was in the process of filming ‘Fast and Furious 7′. Due to his death, Universal postponed further filming for the action filming until a decision has been made on whether the film should continue to go ahead. It was soon stated that Walker’s brothers will fill in for Paul for the remaining scenes he was to appear in. Walker was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills two weeks after his death.
